It's a shame my local Bargain Bank is going out of business, it's deals like this that make me a regular customer.
For a $5 wine I thought this was very tasty. A sophisticated nose of rich, ripe fruits, chocolate, and cedar. Balanced on the way in, with a nice bold mouthfeel.
It stood up well to a rich braised beef/pasta dish, I needed another sip upon each bite!

Lots of "concord grape jelly" on the nose, palate, and finish. Some beef jerky as well. I would avoid.
