A bold and spicy nose, with hits of cherry. Taste is slightly on the fruity side, but good. Very balanced, vanilla action, the finish doesn't really stand up to the rest of it. Overall a pretty good deal at Costco.

I think the "Smoking Loon" put out a serious cigar in this Merlot! And....I like it! Smokey, spices, earth on the nose, cherry bursts....not bad for a cheap bottle.

Light oak/cedar nose w/ some cherry and vanilla. Tart and alive, some pleasant spice. Some cola and almost tropical flavors as well, a teensy sweet for my taste but not bad. Easy drinking inexpensive wine. Not a long finish.
This comes in a 2-pack at Costco for 10.59, so the $5.30 is just me dividing out the price for 1 bottle.
