One of the best young Burgundies I have ever had. Most of the grapes on the Mont du Corton are Chardonnay, whereas this is Pinot Noir. Simply elegance and finesse cramed into a bottle. Not heavy, not thick, just long long and longer flavors that fan out across the palate revealing notes of red fruits, stones, and spices. Very hard to describe, but if you like Pinot Noir and/or Burgundy and you have the opportunity to taste this, do not miss it. Worth paying top dollar for...even if you have to push some cult cabernets out of your cellar to make room for it.
