| 96-100 | Extraordinary | A wine of finesse, complexity, and expression. True to variety and region. Perfect balance of flavors with a long finish. |
| 90-95 | Excellent | True to variety and region, with terrific complexity and balance. While not a wine for the ages, a superior example. |
| 85-89 | Good | Meets your expectations, with sound flavors and balance. Might have limited complexity or be short on the palate. A sound wine. |
| 80-84 | Average | Drinkable, might not have as much varietal character. Simple flavors, no flaws, but nothing special. |
| 75-79 | Below Average | Might contain one flaw, simple straight-forward flavors, off-balance, unpleasant. |
| 60-74 | Undrinkable, Flawed | Contains significant flaws. Unpleasant, not commercially acceptable. |

Smoke, pomegranate, dried cherry and flint/steel on the nose. Watery mouthfeel yet dry and tannic enough to still give that chalky mouthfeel which is enjoyable. Very CDR (cote du rhone - is that legit?) French on the taste .... no berry, just nice dry mineral/smoke.
Very quick finish with a glimpse of spice/mustard. Very enjoyable for the price. But ... and this is a big but - i don't want to get carried away here. Considering the massive power of the Rhone varietals, this wine is definitively not showing that power. Too weak of a nose, and waaaay too weak on the palate. But all things said ... for the price, winner.

Spicy and forward, thin and watery. Despite the initial thin feel, the finish does stick around for a bit, but not sticky.
Tastes like a pinot, or atleast the mouthfeel. Cherry cola.
Seems like this wine could soften up over time (decanting) or in the ole wine fridge. Tasted (and held up) well with my pesto/mushroom pizza.
