| 96-100 | Extraordinary | A wine of finesse, complexity, and expression. True to variety and region. Perfect balance of flavors with a long finish. |
| 90-95 | Excellent | True to variety and region, with terrific complexity and balance. While not a wine for the ages, a superior example. |
| 85-89 | Good | Meets your expectations, with sound flavors and balance. Might have limited complexity or be short on the palate. A sound wine. |
| 80-84 | Average | Drinkable, might not have as much varietal character. Simple flavors, no flaws, but nothing special. |
| 75-79 | Below Average | Might contain one flaw, simple straight-forward flavors, off-balance, unpleasant. |

Being the "Natural Blonde" that I am, I couldn't pass on this wine. The label didn't live up to the stereotyped feel good time that should go with the name....because imbibing this Syrah certainly didn't lead to anything like "more fun" in my life....(you might have to be a blonde to actually "get" that). The aroma was extremely bland, along with the taste: it was like watered down cran-grape juice.
Being a natural blonde has never been less fun!!!
Cheers!

Light nose that is faintly reminiscent of the forest floor pinot type thing.
Thin and tart - doesn't really do it for me. Some nice acidity, but not balanced out with tannins or that "luxurious mouthfeel". The finish is quick and gives a blip of spice, then fades quickly, or rather, instantaneously.
This wine is made Daniel and Linda Fetzer (whose blonde visage is featured on the front of the bottle) and they must be part of the Fetzer wine family?? In any case, even for 5.99 I'd give it a miss
