2005 EPOS NAPA VALLEY RED
EPOS, Latin for an epic poem or song. Only ultra-premium rows from the best blocks of fruit in Napa Valley's top vineyards go into EPOS. The current vintage is primarily Cabernet Sauvignon (around 70%, mostly from Stagecoach Vineyard in St. Helena), the remainder is Petit Verdot and Malbec (both obtained from Dominus). This highly collectible wine is the absolute cream of Napa Valley, and demands drinking and cellaring over the next 15-20 years.
Only 1200 bottles were made.
Josh Pedroli put this project together. Randle Johnson made the wine.
