Vanilla, spice, dried cherries, sulfur on the nose. Balanced, a bit young tasting. Would like a bit of toast to take an edge off the fruit. Acidic, a bit of spice.

Rich & deep. Sweet & big. Clove & fig. Lots of cocoa on the finish, nutmeg. SPICE, pepper. Long finish.

Nice cab, some raisin and strawberry. On the pallete, smooth and spicy. Tastes a big stale on the negative side.

I'm not going to throw out cliche wine descriptions. I gave it a 90 because it is a great wine for the $. Usually you get what you pay for but in this case, Beringer's Founder's Estate 2004 Cabernet tastes much more expensive. Very smooth with no cheap wine aftertaste. You won't be sorry.

Wow. Nice and spicy on the nose. Lots of cherry in the pleasantly textured taste. Great finish. This was a blind tasting and I was amazed when I saw the price. Very impressed!

Not very distinctive in color and bouquet, but taste is citrusy/dry. (Diana Lee)
