This is a great wine for grilled chicken, pork, or light pasta with red sauce. It is also great for drinking on it's own. It is fruit forward with a decent finish. For 8.99, it's a great wine for which your friends will think you paid a bit more.

La Crema Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2006.
Fresh and lively with citrus and nut aromas gliding seamlessly into flavors of Bartlett pear with a hint of toasty oak. On the whole very refreshing and understated, a style of Chardonnay I enjoy. Delicious.

Not a bad wine, but a little on the bitter side. Need to decant for about 2 hours or aerate prior to drinking to help reduce the bitterness. I much prefer the Beringer Merlot (see my other reviews) over this one.

I was very impressed by this Merlot. I am a huge fan of Merlots and have tried many different ones (too many to list to be honest). In my oppinion, this is one of the best Merlots you can buy for the money. This Merlot has an excellent bouquet and tastes like a richer, more expensive wine. It is not bitter like a lot of other Merlots in this price category and has a very smooth finish with hardly any aftertaste. I would highly recommend this wine to anyone, especially those that appreciate a nice red wine.

I found this to be a very good wine. I am not particularly a fan of white wines, I much prefer the dark red merlots. Having said that, this is one white wine I would buy again. I actually purchased this wine in the first place for a lady friend of mine, who specifically requested this wine, and who describes it herself as "Perfection in a glass". While I agree it is a very good wine, I personally would not call it a perfect wine. I will say though, it is even better when poured through a wine aerator made specifically for white wines. Refering back to my lady friends comment from before, after pouring this wine through my Vinturi wine aerator, she commented with "Wow... I didn't know you could make perfection out of perfection." So to summarize, while I realize I have not really commented on bouquet, flavor, or finish of the wine (I'm not a professional wine taster), I would highly recommend this wine to anyone who enjoys a good white wine.

crisp, clean, with a sweet aftertaste. This chardonnay has a beautiful deep blonde hue, and drinks well alone, or pairs well with light seafood - shrimp, cod, mahi mahi, fluke, etc. this wine was clearly not oaked, so drinks more like riesling or pinot grigio than the more traditional chardonnays. range of flavors from banana, asian pear, with undertone of citrus.

There is a post dated Jan. 5th regarding this wine. I suspect that Colonial Beverage posted the positive comments. They got in a very large amount of this wine and have been highly recommending it. I picked up 3 bottles as part of a case I put together. It was fine, not great but good. Not a lot to the wine - basic cherry/slight cabernet flavor. Soft tannins, very accessible for such a young vintage. I have no idea how they are claiming it was $130 a bottle. Even the winery website lists it at $21 a bottle. I'm guessing they must be comparing to other Spring Mountain wineries. Very shady marketing here! It was acceptable to throw in a bottle to help make up a case but not much else. I prefer the Buehler cab (at the same price) or Novelty Hill (at $5 more per bottle). Don't get overjoyed and sucked into their marketing gimmicks as I had. There is much better fish in the sea to enjoy.

This is not a wine, but a spirit distilled from sugar cane mash. It's just as good as 75% of the other rums I've tasted, plus due to it's proof level it is more effective as an inebriant or an accelerant, and so I'm awarding it an extra point, for a total of 76 points. Recommended for "Banana's Foster" and "Cherries Jubilee."

Friend brought me a bottle for Christmas and it is my new favorite. Bottle is hand etched and painted and the tequila is very smooth definitely getting another bottle after this one.

This was unbelievable best tequila I have had!! I drink Don Julio 1942 or Real and this is much better Very smooth, no bite and heavy vanilla and caramel; it is ultra smooth and delicious.

We found the 2005 to be such a great wine and value that we purchased a case of the 2006. However, the 06 required over a year to come around, and come around it did!
This January 14th, 2010 tasting was a pretty welcome surprise, the nose provided luscious ripe berries and cherries with hints of spice and chocolate, with nearly equal values and balance on the pallet, and a full lingering finish.

2003 Yellow Tail South Eastern Australia Shiraz-Cabernet. From Magnum on 1/10/2010.
This wine is showing better than I had expected with a ruby-garnet color and surprizingly fresh notes of cherries and grape jam. Mild and unassuming on entry with notes of cedar and spice playing delicately against the still firm tannins. Not particularly complex or expansive, but a good deal more graceful than I could have expected based on tastings of earlier and younger wines from this producer, and more than drinkable with aeration a fair seven years from vintage for a wine priced for early consumption. Drink now through 2012.

Excellent bargain. This wine got 94 Parker points. The most points in the Provence/Rhone area. Taste is very balanced: cherries, tobacco, some chocolate. Try to buy soon, as there are just some bottles left.

This has been one of the smoothest Vodkas I have ever had! No burn or harsh taste truly superb. Enjoyed it with tonic, as a martini and for a cocktail party with mixed drinks.
I WILL buy this again. WOULD recommend to a friend!
Got to meet one of the owners at a tasting. Kind of cool to support a new brand.

Finishes clean, but fragrant on the nose.
