Merchant Reviews Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Rhone, France- This rich, full-bodied wine is primarily Grenache and has an intense bouquet of violets, cherries, blackberries and game. Flavors of cherry, rasberry and spice predominate, while hints of vanilla and earth add elegance. Try it with lamb or game. {Elegant, Cherry, Blackberry, Full-bodied}

A fantastic du Pape with a lovely smoky, red raspberry and white pepper nose, a great full mouth feel and lasting peppery finish. Awesome with lamb and mint sauce. Yum

love it

this is a great wine

A Tad Disappointing, indeed!
By Thumper 12141604, December 13, 2007
Thin, weak, unfocused this CdP is robustly overpriced. Nothing about it recommends it over far lesser priced American offerings. At the brutal 1.468 exchange rate, this $29.99 CdP is only "worth" $20.38 "American." And sadly, this slack unremarkable wine is vastly inferior to Bridgman's Yakima Valley Syrah selling for $12.99.
