Bright, deep red. Sexy aromas of red fruits, spices, smoke, minerals and flowers. Lush, pliant and sweet, with complementary oak spices. In a distinctly suave, supple style, finishing with good ripe tannins and sneaky persistence. There was a bit more destemming here: about 40%. About 60% of this holding dates back to 1987, while the other 40% consists of vines around 60 years of age.
