1favorite varietal in my profile...
Hey there! I just went to my profile page and noticed that Sauvignon Blanc was listed as my favorite varietal. I of course wen to change this immediately, and noticed that I had, in fact, chosen my favorite varietal - Syrah - from the drop down menu. It just shows wrong. Help! I can't have people thinking I am a wussy white wine drinker!

Our code is so smart it knew that you were a closet sauv blanc fan :)
Ya, it's a bug. Andy's had it fixed for a while but we haven't updated the code for a bit cuz we're working on a "mega" release within the next few days.

How about expanding the list of choices to include other grapes? Personally it would be gratifying to see exotic varietals like Marsanne, Rousanne, Conoise, and Aglianico-- but exotics aside, the list should definitely include popular and well celebrated varietals like Nebbiolo, Tempranillo, Grenache, Chenin Blanc, and Gewurztraminer at the very least.

I just wanted to update this thread (a little late) to mention that we've added in the handful of popular and celebrated varietals that the Captain mentioned.
